Kimberly comes to the Law Offices of Shana E. Thompson with a history of litigating family law and domestic violence matters through hearings and trials in King and Snohomish County Superior Court. Kimberly formerly practiced law as a solo practitioner and at prior law firms. Kimberly is a regular volunteer at the KCBA Cross-Cultural Family Law Clinic and the KCBA Family Law Mentor Program. In 2016, she received recognition for her volunteer work by receiving the KCBA Family Law Mentor Volunteer of the Year. In her spare time, Kimberly enjoys kayaking and spending time with her family.
Raised in the Yakima Valley, Kimberly attended law school at the William S. Boyd School of Law, UNLV, in Las Vegas, Nevada. During law school Kimberly was an Articles Editor for the Gaming Law Journal and competed in moot court. After graduating she moved back to Washington and settled in Seattle.
